Revolutionizing Testing

The Flow ‘N Go DPF Tester measures backpressure in a novel way. The device delivers compressed air to individual sections of a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and indicates how much the airflow is restricted. Technicians can perform pre and post cleaning measurements and quickly develop baselines using a new DPF. As the operator uses the handheld probe (or puck) to move across the DPF, the gauge provides real-time pressure readings. The operator then records the average pressure indicated on the gauge as a measure of the backpressure within the DPF. Excessive exhaust back pressure reduces engine efficiency and can lead to damage.

Key Advantages:

  1. The Flow ‘N Go DPF Tester offers portability or permanent mounting options:
    1. TrapBlaster JR mount
    2. Workbench mount
    3. Hanger mount
    4. TrapBlaster door hanger mount
  2. No electricity is required to power the Flow ‘N Go Tester. Only needs a standard shop air connection. An air connection kit is included with the TrapBlaster JR that utilizes the existing air supply coming into the machine.
  3. Reduces floor space as compared to the FSX TrapTester flow bench
  4. The Flow ‘N Go Tester is unaffected by airflow variations caused by sensor ports and canning gaps
  5. Automatically compensates for any elevation or temperature change so no calibration needed
  6. Testing over a number of cells simulates a realistic engine output flow

NOTE: while the Flow ‘N Go does not have published baselines like the TrapTester flow bench, baselines can be established by testing brand new DPFs and reporting the results to FSX for future publishing. If you are looking to have the advantage of published baselines and a work bench, see the TrapTester
