I have been using the automotive system [FSX Light Duty DPF Cleaning System] for 3 years now. The build quality and performance of the machine is ‘HIGH QUALITY – meets the FSX standard’. So far no problems or defects at all. Cleaning performance is top, best on the market (I have FlashCleaner also –  I already had the Flash Cleaner since 2015, that is before the Catblaster was released – so I can compare cleaning process and quality).

The cleaning process, dry cleaning in the 2P before wet cleaning in the 2H part of the system is way more effective because the pneumatic stage takes out most of the soot and prevents what I call a ‘sludge bloc’. This is what you get if you start cleaning a very clogged filter directly with water like in the FlashCleaner. Too much soot with the water swells up to a sludge that causes a hydraulic block inside the filter. This is dangerous to damage the filter with the pressure blows and causes the filter monolith to move inside the filter housing. By cleaning the DPF first with the pneumatic stage (2P) this does not happen.

The only remark I can make is that the cleaning process takes a little more time compared to the FlashCleaner (wet only). But if cleaning quality prevails I would not hesitate to choose the CatBlaster.
